Black Healing Series
The Black Healing through Photography series features four Black identifying college students who use self-expression as a form of advocacy and healing. The main objective is to show just how resilient yet vulnerable they can be using a black and white perspective. Choosing to be and express yourself in these times when it seems like everyone is trying to be someone else is a form of rebellion from the norm. In doing so, you learn how to love yourself without external validation and inspire others to do the same. Many of us have experienced different situations in our lives that may have caused us to doubt ourselves and question our worth. This series is a reminder that we are all worthy and by being our authentic selves, we can find healing. - Marleen Moise
